PCAP Office Assistant Location Yakima, WA : Do you have a heart to assist Parent Child Assistance Case Managers build and maintain healthy, independent, alcohol/drug-free lives for mothers with substance use Disorders? Triumph is looking for a Parent-Child Assistance Program. Triumph provides co-occurring residential and outpatient treatment services for those suffering from addiction and mental health issues. “Where hope and new life become possible.” : Parent-Child Assistance Program (PCAP) is a 3-year intervention for high-risk women and their families. The Office Assistant performs a variety of complex clerical tasks that support the clinical supervisor, case managers, and PCAP office. Qualifications: Successful applicants will: - High School Diploma or GED required
- Two (2) years of clerical experience or equivalent education/experience
- Experience working with high-risk populations
- Strong communication skills
- Able to deal with elevated stress and cope with circumstances dangerous to self or others

Parent-Child Assistance Program Office Assistant Job Duties: - Answers telephones; responds to inquiries regarding PCAP; takes messages and connects clients with their case managers in a timely manner
- Conducts research for client services and maintains resource books
- Receives and refers visitors with professional courtesy
- Establishes and maintains complex electronic and physical filing systems and database files, including client files. Enters and retrieves data from the client database, operates office equipment: computer, copy and fax machines
- Devises, evaluates and revises forms for internal use; makes copies as needed; composes and types office correspondence; responds to requests for PCAP information
- Performs complex word processing tasks such as merging and sorting; integrating texts with graphics, spreadsheet and data base files, uploading/downloading and creating footnotes and outlines
- Performs electronic mail tasks, sorts and distributes mail, orders office supplies, and maintains inventory
- May be asked to transport clients for ASI Intake and to assist client childcare on site during research interviews
Certificates: - A current driver license is required.

- Applicants who are hired must, within 30 days, provide evidence of certification in HIV/AIDS, airborne and blood-borne pathogens training.
- Applicants who are hired must, within 30 days, provide evidence of certification in cultural diversity training.
