Position Summary The Association of National Advertisers (ANA), the premier trade association representing client-side marketers, is seeking a Full Stack PHP Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in full-stack development, with expertise in PHP 7 and 8, MySQL, and front-end technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing full-stack web applications.
Primary Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and test full-stack web applications.
- Maintain and improve existing web applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely and effective manner
- Collaborate with senior developers to understand our core business domains, technical stack, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical and support documentation
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Professional Experience and Qualifications - Relevant associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution along with 2-5 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining modern websites.
- Proficiency with PHP 7, PHP 8, OOP, and PHP MVC frameworks like Symfony.
- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases.
- Strong front-end development skills in HTML5, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Deep understanding of Bootstrap and responsive design.
- Exposure to Linux/Apache environments and basic knowledge of Unix/Linux command-line tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of APIs and web service integration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a group.
- Process-oriented, attentive to detail, and organized.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members and team leads.
- Natural problem solver and troubleshooter.
- Self-motivated and creative thinker.
Salary and Total Rewards Package Starting pay range: $80,000 to $90,000, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
