Position: Counseling Intern

Job Description:The Counseling Intern will provide individual counseling, play therapy, family therapy, couples counseling and group therapy to clients at Mosaic Family Services Main office and/or Mosaic shelter for two consecutive semesters.  The Counseling Intern will also maintain proper documentation and record keeping and provide reports in a timely manner.  The Counseling Intern will also participate in weekly supervision once a week and group supervision as required, as well as any training by the Mental Health programs. Other Mosaic meetings and training are optional.

Please note: this internship does not include practicum hours. 

 Job Duties  (include but are not limited to):

·       See at least 12 clients

·       Facilitate one group on the second semester

·       Attend regularly scheduled individual supervision times and group supervision times

·       Maintain proper documentation and program reports on time

·       Attend trainings, meetings, and conferences as needed for professional and staff development and/or assist with those

·       One evening or one day on the weekend required per week

·       Other duties as required by Counseling Clinical Director
